Chapatti in Life

Chapatti in Life

Life rolls out like soft dough,
Flattened by the hands we know.
Warm or cold, thick or thin,
Every fold hides where we’ve been.

Sometimes golden, sometimes burnt,
Lessons come from what we’ve learned.
Round and humble, plain or dressed,
Every chapatti tells a quest.

We knead our hopes, we press our fears,
We toast our dreams through smiles and tears.
And though the edges might crack and fray,
We rise again, another day.

So savor each simple bite we share,
For life, like chapatti, asks us care.
In every fold, a story is rife—
The plain, the perfect, the chapatti of life.
